What Equipment Will I Need?

  • Baseball Glove

    • General 9 1/2”. A soft leather with fabric combo provides a good cushion and they are easy to close without sacrificing stability or durability. Many models have an adjustable velcro wrist strap for smaller hands as well.

  • Bat

    • USA Bat Certified or USA Bat Sticker.

  • Helmet

    • It is not essential to have your own helmet. There will be a limited about of team helmets that will be/can be shared. Feel free to bring your own helmet.

  • Cup/Supporter

    • CUPS/SUPPORTERS ARE REQUIRED FOR PRACTICES AND GAMES.

  • Baseballs Will Be Provided

    • A standard “Tee Ball” will be used that has cushioned feel. However, to limit or eliminate the fear of the ball, as practice aids we will use plastic whiffle, foam or softer types of balls.

What Should I Bring To Practice?

  • Appropriate clothing to play baseball in. This includes long pants or short pants with long socks. Also, wear layers if the weather is cold.

  • Make sure that you are wearing your cup.

  • Bring a water bottle labeled with your name on it.

  • Baseball glove, baseball cap

  • Sunscreen if needed.

Will I Receive A Uniform?

Yes, you will receive a uniform. The uniform will consist of a jersey, socks and a baseball cap. Uniforms should be to the managers by mid-April.

How Are Games Played?

Games will be 3 innings at the start of the season in April using a T. In June, there will be 2 T innings with 1 to 2 coach pitch innings. All players will bat in the inning. Batting order and playing positions will be changed by inning. Teams generally have 12-13 players per team. Coaches may play 9 or 10 on the field. Coaches are encouraged to have the players not on the field practicing in the Skill Zone instead of sitting on the bench.
