What is Lombard Thunder Baseball?
Lombard Thunder is Lombard Baseball League’s Part Time travel program. It is composed of the best in-house players (All Stars) that Lombard has to offer. Thunder is for players who want to extend their baseball season and continue to play with likeminded and competitive teammates, but who do not want the time commitments or cost of a Full Time Travel team.
How Do I Play For the Lombard Thunder?
Teams are formed from tryouts that occur late in the in-house season. Practices begin as early as July 5th. any registered LBL in-house player is eligible to try out for a Thunder team. After being offered a roster spot, you will be required to pay both your Thunder fee and your in-house fee for the following Spring season. Players on a Thunder team are REQUIRED to play LBL in-house.
When Are Tryouts?
Please note, players will be trying out for the age that he/she will be in FOLLOWING season. Your child’s playing age is their age on April 30, 2022.
